Shooting on location at Rugby School for the first week of May meant early mornings and long days for the boys of Rugby School who joined Stephen Fry and the rest of the cast for the re-make of Tom Brown's Schooldays, to be shown on ITV1 at Christmas.

Judging will take place from then until early September, with the awards ceremony to be held in October. British Waterways has singled out one of Rugby Tourism's members for special praise.
The Lock Stop Bistro at Hillmorton Locks near Rugby was voted Best New Waterways Business and Best Waterside Restaurant by British Waterways users. It also received the silver award in the Most Innovative Waterways Business category for owners Ian and Lesley Lauder.
The cup was on display in various locations, and Sir Clive, Matt Dawson and Steve Thompson received the Freedom of the Borough on behalf of the whole squad in a special civic ceremony in the Temple Speech Room at Rugby School.
