... and not too far away in Northamptonshire (Rugby lies very close to the county boundary) are Canons Ashby House, Cottesbrooke HallHoldenby House, and Kelmarsh Hall

The former home of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, Althorp House, is open to visitors from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. during the summer. Advance booking is recommended

Further afield, but still in Warwickshire are Arbury Hall, Baddesley Clinton, Charlecote Park, Compton Verney, Coughton Court, Farnborough Hall, Kenilworth Castle, Kinwarton Dovecote, Packwood House, Upton House, and Warwick Castle
