Saturday 31 July
The Manor Farm Shop in Catthorpe, just a few miles NE of Rugby, holds a Farm fun Day from 11.00 a.m. until 3.00 p.m.  There will be lots for families to see and do including a bouncy castle, children's flower arranging, animals, tractors, BBQ, cream teas, local woodwork, lots of local produce and a variety of games.  It will all be indoors if it's wet!  Entry is free.  Here is

Today until Sunday 1 August
The Dun Cow Vintage Inn on The Green in Dunchurch near Rugby hosts a Showcase Cask Ale Festival made up of 15 champion brews.  Friday evening from 5.00 p.m. offers a Hog Roast and a session of live blues and jazz from the Rhythm Roadsters.  On Saturday the Dun Cow holds another Hog Roast (all day this time) and from 6.00 p.m. there will be acoustic guitar from 2K.  Children’s activities are available throughout - and make sure you don’t miss the final performance by the Rhythm Roadsters on Sunday at 1.00 p.m.  Check out their website

Steam enthusiasts young and old are welcome on the third Sunday of the month until October at the MINIATURE RAILWAY TRAIN SERVICES at the Rainsbrook Valley Railway, Onley Lane, Rugby from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Tickets are £1.00 for a half-mile long ride.  Visit their website or ring 01788 330 283 for more information


Sunday 22 August
A must for collectors of old toys and trains - the popular Vintage Toy and Train Fair returns to the Benn Hall, Rugby.  There are 80 stalls packed with purely old toys and trains: Hornby Dublo, Hornby O Gauge and other trains, train layouts, displays, spare part suppliers, free valuations, Dinky toys, tinplate and many other collectable toys from 10.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.  This is one of Barry Potter's Fairs.  Adults £3.50, Seniors £3.00, Children £1.00.  For further information call 01604 770 025

Enjoy an evening out at the Benn Hall, Rugby by visiting the Toy and Train Collectors' Fair from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.  Thousands of collectables including model cars, railways, planes, buses, beanies, books, soldiers, action figures, Scalextric, display cases and more!   This is one of Barry Potter's Fairs.  Adults £1.20, Seniors £1.00, Children 50p.  For further information call 01604 770 025
